                                  This SMS Privacy Policy addendum supplements the sugaringLA McKinney Privacy Policy and describes how COSMOS WELLNESS SERVICES, LLC dba sugaringLA McKinney Eldorado Plaza (“sugaringLA McKinney,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information provided by individuals who opt in to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from us. By opting in to our text messaging program, you agree to the terms outlined below.

                                  • Email address if provided alongside your phone number

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information solely for the purpose of providing services on our behalf and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

                                  Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule, account activity, and the message types you have opted into. You may receive transactional messages related to your appointments as needed, and promotional messages on a periodic basis if you have opted in.

Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all text messages sent and received. sugaringLA McKinney is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. Contact your wireless provider for details about your text and data plan.

                                  6. Opt-Out & Consent Management

                                  You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time using any of the following methods:

                                  After sending STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message verifying your unsubscription. You will not receive any further text messages unless you opt in again by replying JOIN or START, or by completing a new opt-in form.

                                  Opting out of text messages does not affect any other communications you may receive from us (such as email), and does not impact your ability to book or receive services.

                                  We retain your SMS-related personal information for as long as you remain opted in to our text messaging program. If you opt out, we will retain your phone number and opt-out record for compliance and audit purposes, but will cease all messaging. Consent records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of consent or opt-out to comply with applicable regulations.
